A classic design designed by Eero Saarinen.
Saarinen said that he did not like the ugly legs of the existing dining table, so he designed a tulip-like bone base. It is also called the tulip table by the nickname of the chair designed together. 

It is also good for space utilization as a leisurely dining table for 6 or 8 people.
